This night was totally amazing – to be honest from my first involvement with this event, I thought the fights would be a gentle encounter based on mutual respect – but not The Kops4Kidz Boxers they just gave it “the full wellie”right from the get go.
Real hard hits all the way – Superb boxing and the crowd gave it the vital spark this encounter needed.
Staged incredible Wright Venue and packed to the rafters everyone played a part in raising the roof and raising the vital funds for St John’s Ward – Kops4Kidz stepped in and got funds these most difficult of financial times in our country.
Congratulations to all the fighters both in the ring, out of the ring and in St John’s Ward.
A real hats off to the organizing committee for a really well run event.
Darren Conlon – Inspirational.
Gareth Presch – One in a Million.
All the Boxers and Trainers – True Grit.
The parents who put their children forward as the faces of hope and love – Outstanding.
Meeting Katie again on the fight night – Brilliant!
Kops4Kidz will make a difference in Cancer Care for Children and their families in Ireland. Forever.
On the 10th February 2012 at the Wright Venue – 28 members of An Garda Síochána and 2 Civilians fought to raise over €85,000 for St Johns Ward, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital,Crumlin.
Kops4Kidz. Worth fighting for.
