The Clash’s former road manager Johnny Green takes John Cooper Clarke the Poet Laureate Of Punk to The Arts Council Stage at The Electric Picnic 2012. Super event with classics like Beasley Street and Hire Car rocking the tent. JCC launched a well measured tongue-in-cheek attack on Johnny Cash regarding Cash’s real “Bird” credentials.

Eyes dead as vicious fish

Look around for laughs

If I could have just one wish

I would be a photograph

on a permanent Monday morning

Get lost or fall asleep

When the yellow cats are yawning

Around the back of Beasley Street
